AC-78 is highly resistant to most solvents and chemicals. Immersion tests have shown that the following chemicals have little or no effect:

•acetone
•benzene
•dilute acids
•dimethyl acetamine
•ethanol
•hydraulic fluids
•jet fuel
•methylene chloride
•perchloroethylene
•refrigerants
•toluene
•xylene
